How the AI Visibility Score works
We don’t guess. We send the same recommendation queries a real customer would type into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity — then we measure whether your business is named, ranked, or missed.
1. Identify your business
We use the website you submit to extract your business name, location, and the services you offer.
2. Run real AI queries
We query each engine with realistic prompts like “best [your service] near [your city]” and parse the actual responses.
3. Score citation behavior
For each engine: cited at top, cited later, mentioned but not recommended, or invisible. Higher placement = higher score.
4. Tell you what to fix
Schema gaps, missing entity links, weak local signals, citation drift — we list the specific issues blocking you and what would fix them.
Which AI engines are tested?
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity — the four engines U.S. consumers most often ask for local-business recommendations.
Is the score live or cached?
Live. Each check runs fresh queries against the engines at the time you submit. Recheck anytime to track progress as you optimize.
What hurts a score the most?
Missing or invalid LocalBusiness schema, inconsistent NAP (name, address, phone) across the web, no AI-readable manifest, and weak citation density. Verified and Authority members get the schema and crawl signals fixed automatically.
Do you store my results?
Only if you create an account. Anonymous checks aren’t saved. Members get a citation history dashboard and email alerts when an engine starts (or stops) citing them.
